About The Position

The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests, including taking and delivering food and beverage orders promptly. Duties also include re-cleating and polishing golf shoes efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization of locker room facilities, and ensuring towels, toiletries, and other supplies are fully stocked and readily available.

Requirements

  • High school enrollment, diploma or successful equivalency completion required.
  • Food and beverage customer service and/or hospitality industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and oral directions.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and to work independently.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in highly fluid and dynamic environment.

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Stock Farm Club and member and guest information.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and image of the Stock Farm Club.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Locker rooms are gender specific.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess current TIPS training or be able to complete such training within 60 days of hire.
  • Must be able to pass employment background check and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana; must be insurable under the company’s auto insurance policy.
  • Must be able to work variable schedule or irregular hours to include last-minute scheduling needs/changes and working split shifts based on needs of the Club operations and scheduled events.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekday, weekend, and evening/late evening hours as required.
  • Ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions as needed and to walk on uneven ground.
  • Ability to perform same-day travel on Stock Farm Property and within local geographic region.
  • General physical activities.
  • Work involves long periods of walking, standing, use of arms and legs, and movement of entire body.
  • Work includes climbing; lifting; balancing; walking; stooping; pulling and pushing; kneeling, stooping, and bending; and safely lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds.
  • Work involves walking on uneven and slippery surfaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior successful employment with the Stock Farm Club in this or a related position.
  • Knowledge of bartending principles.

Responsibilities

  • Checks locker room before, during shift every 15 minutes and after shift for proper set up and cleanliness.
  • Washes restroom floor; wipes mirrors and walls; cleans basins, lavatories, and showers.
  • Restocks supplies including tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo, razors, and after-shave lotion.
  • Performs personal services including shining shoes, brushing clothes, and adjusting golf shoe spikes.
  • Provides for the safety and security of all members’ and guests’ personal property.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies.
  • Transports towels to and from laundry area.
  • Maintains a list of occupied lockers.
  • Serves beverages and food to members and guests.
  • Cleans and empties garbage cans and baskets.
  • Takes and delivers phone messages for members and guests.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment in locker room.
  • Escorts Stock Farm Club guests to a locker for use during visit.
  • Sets up locker room bar.
  • Attends staff meetings.
  • Completes other assignments assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage.
  • Ensures complete member satisfaction with locker room functions; and to maintain an excellent standard of cleanliness.
  • Greets members in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or clubhouse promotions.
  • Communicates with golf shop regularly regarding daily activity.
  • Takes detailed food and beverage orders, input into POS system, continue to serve the member as meal arrives and present the correct meal to each member, as well as appropriate condiments. Also, present the check to the member promptly and follow proper check out and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Replenishes beverages as necessary and check for overall member satisfaction.
  • Continually monitors cleanliness of entire locker room and shoe room including replenishing toiletries, ensuring dispenser tips point forward, tissues fanned, wipe messes and tip the toilet paper every 15 minutes.
  • Completes all closing and side work duties.
  • Abides all state, federal and corporate liquor, tobacco, and health regulations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
