About The Position

The Locker Room Spa Attendant is responsible for the smooth, efficient operation of the Locker Room and Pool Area, providing a clean and safe spa experience for guests. This role involves maintaining facilities, ensuring guest safety, stocking supplies, and adhering to service standards.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform a variety of responsibilities, including guest service, cleaning, and maintenance of Locker Rooms.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
  • Regularly required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Applicant must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • This position requires a LEVEL 4 Gaming License.

Responsibilities

  • Take care of guest needs, ensuring supplies are available and facilities are kept clean and safe at all times.
  • Monitor guests, ensuring their safety by showing them proper use of facilities and preventing endangerment through overuse (e.g., steam room, sauna, pools).
  • Assist guests with locker locks as needed.
  • Adhere to Four Winds Casinos standards for guest service.
  • Refer guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to guest problem resolution policy.
  • Keep a daily log of activities performed to ensure Locker Rooms are maintained to facility standards.
  • Continually stock and upkeep lockers that have been used by guests to quickly assign to a new guest.
  • Clean all surfaces, shower stalls, restrooms, and other areas in compliance with the facilities sanitation standards.
  • Fold and stock towels, robes, sheets, and other linens in the appropriate storage areas within the facility.
  • Assist with moving dirty or clean linen, via rolling carts from the hotel’s laundry area.
  • Monitor and maintain steam, showers, saunas, etc., and notify Maintenance when facilities need servicing.
  • Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Spa Manager, including stocking of treatment rooms and other supplies when needed.
  • Be alert to safety hazards to ensure guest safety and smooth operation of Locker Rooms.
  • Create an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
  • Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all employees by setting positive examples at all times.
