Brass Sales is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in assisting customers both in person and over the phone while helping maintain an organized, well-stocked, and professional sales environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and is willing to learn our products and processes. This role offers a variety of responsibilities and opportunities for growth within a stable and established company.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform frequent walking, bending, reaching, and standing throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the front counter and over the phone
• Process customer orders using company systems
• Provide accurate product information and recommendations
• Load customer purchases safely and efficiently
• Follow up with customers as needed
• Stock shelves and replenish inventory
• Maintain product displays and seasonal merchandising areas
• Prepare and organize parcel shipments for daily pickup
• Keep the front counter, showroom, and work areas clean and organized
• Assist with inventory counts and incoming freight
• Complete additional projects and duties as assigned
