About The Position

UST is a national logistics solutions company headquartered in Greenville, SC. We are seeking a team-player who takes pride in their work to join our growing company. As the Location Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, focusing on developing relationships with clients, contractors, customers, and employees. Requirements

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Higher education and/or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in a 3PL model.
Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Conducts ride-alongs and evaluations of contractors to identify skill levels and development opportunities.
Handles product, including offloading and loading trucks.
Coordinates with customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
May oversee an administrative support team, depending on location size.
Ensures all claims are charged back to the appropriate driver.
Ensures all operations comply with DOT and OSHA requirements.
Monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a healthy and efficient operation.
Monitors weekly reports to ensure financial objectives are met.
Monitors weekly settlements to ensure contractor goals are achieved.
Oversees accurate and efficient loading of all vehicles for the last-mile delivery of retail home products to the end consumer.
Recruits Independent Owner Operators and assists in recruiting their teams.
