Role Overview The Location Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Dillon, MT funeral home. This role reports to a General Manager based at another funeral home in the region. You will have direct support and oversight from your GM while operating with a high degree of autonomy day-to-day. Requirements

Hold an active Montana Mortician license or the ability to obtain one.
Prior experience as a funeral director/embalmer preferred.
Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to serving families during difficult times.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while staying aligned with regional leadership.
Familiarity with funeral home software, documentation, and regulatory requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

Direct funerals, memorial services, and graveside services with professionalism and compassion.
Guide families through arrangement, explaining options clearly and with care.
Coordinate with cemeteries, clergy, florists, and other service providers to ensure seamless experiences.
Prepare and file required documentation, including death certificates, permits, and disposition authorizations.
Performing embalming, preparation, and dressing as needed and within licensure.
Oversee daily operations of the funeral home, ensuring the facility, staff, and processes meet IFP standards.
Manage scheduling, staffing, and vendor relationships to support smooth operations.
Monitor location performance metrics and work with your General Manager to identify and act on opportunities.
Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements, OSHA standards, and IFP policies.
Build and maintain relationships in the Dillon community, representing the funeral home with integrity.
