About The Position

Russell Tobin is seeking a Localization Project Manager II to support a leading global technology company. This role will support localization efforts across Music, TV, and Sports experiences, with a strong focus on Localization QA, project coordination, testing, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience managing localization projects and QA efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, tracking bugs and deliverables, and working effectively in a fast-paced global environment.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of localization workflows, software development, and software QA.
  • Proven experience in localization project management, localization testing, and bug tracking.
  • Experience working with content management databases and localization tools.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Experience planning, managing, and delivering multiple projects within tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Ability to work independently within a global team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to identify priorities, manage competing deliverables, and escalate blockers quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with iOS, tvOS, or similar consumer technology platforms.
  • Familiarity with consumer technology products and digital services.
  • Experience with Python and/or JavaScript scripting.
  • Native-level fluency in one or more languages in addition to English.
  • Experience coordinating localization vendors or multilingual testing teams.
  • Experience working in a global localization or software QA environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate localization QA efforts across multiple projects and languages.
  • Work closely with internal teams and local and international vendor testers to plan and execute localization testing.
  • Create and maintain QA plans to support localization testing and delivery.
  • Support QA activities in the localization lab and help ensure testing is completed on schedule.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track localization and software-related bugs through resolution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate issues and support timely fixes.
  • Monitor project progress, deliverables, timelines, and overall QA status.
  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and blockers effectively to management and cross-functional partners.
  • Manage multiple localization projects simultaneously while working within tight deadlines.
  • Help ensure high-quality localized products and content are delivered on time across multiple languages.
  • Quickly identify potential issues and proactively escalate risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with global teams and vendors across different regions and time zones.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the localization and QA process.
