We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Localization Assistant Intern to support day-to-day project coordination and operations across localization projects. The role will assist with project tracking, content tagging, database maintenance, quality assurance, and cross-functional communication between our local and China-based teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A strong interest in vertical content, storytelling, and digital entertainment is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support Chinese-to-English script localization projects by confirming project requirements, tracking progress, coordinating deadlines, collecting feedback, and ensuring timely communication across teams.
• Review scripts and related content to categorize and tag materials according to internal guidelines, supporting content organization and localization workflows.
• Assist with quality assurance checks to identify inconsistencies, missing information, formatting issues, or other localization-related concerns; maintain accurate project tracking throughout the workflow.
• Maintain and update localization trackers, translation databases, content metadata, and other internal databases to ensure information remains accurate, organized, and up to date.
• Facilitate day-to-day communication between local teams and China-based stakeholders, including project updates, feedback collection, requirement clarification, and deadline coordination.
• Provide flexible administrative and operational support for evolving localization and project needs.
