Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Hazmat endorsement (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Driving and operating roll-off trucks as required.
  • Prioritizing health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
  • Driving and operating roll-off trucks, trailers, and vacuum tankers to perform local pickups/deliveries according to daily instruction either to a disposal site or customer yard/facility (no overnight trips).
  • Preparing for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent operating order prior to driving transportation equipment.
  • Completing manifests or bill of lading documents, Company-issued forms, and other documents for every load managed; inspecting all loads so they are secure and ensuring that they have the proper labels and markings.
  • Maintaining electronic hours of service for DOT compliance and State and Federal regulations.
  • Driving from the customer site to local hazardous and non-hazardous waste facility for unloading and disposal.
  • Acting as Company representative with courtesy towards every customer.
  • Loading roll-off boxes, lining and dumping roll-off boxes.
  • Taking on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
