Local Transportation Driver - Sign On Bonus!
About The Position
Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for receiving, transporting, and delivering bulk products while complying with DOT regulations and safety standards. The role involves operating long-haul truck and trailer equipment for daily bulk product transportation, checking equipment daily for efficient and safe operational use, and maintaining required driver logs, time and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports within company guidelines. The driver will also plan routes according to state and federal laws for overweight and over-width loads and perform continuous loading and unloading duties frequently throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A required
- GED or high school diploma required
- Must be 25 years or older
- Must meet the DOT required qualifications of driver according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years’ bulk driving experience desired
Responsibilities
