About The Position

Be part of the operations team for our first US aircraft assembly line for Pilatus. Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd. is launching a new PC-12 final assembly operation in Sarasota, Florida. To establish this operation successfully, we are seeking highly experienced professionals to join our operation organization and build up the IT landscape. Successful candidates will complete approximately 3 - 6 months of advanced, hands-on training at Pilatus headquarters in Stans, Switzerland, working directly within the established IT department. Training will be performed during the initial 12 months of hiring.

Requirements

  • Completed IT-related training or degree; business informatics or similar education is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience with SAP S/4HANA (e.g., PP, SCM, QM, MM, EWM) and strong motivation to expand this knowledge
  • Experience in project management is an advantage
  • English as main language
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

  • German or Spanish is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the SAP Key-Users at our subsidiary in Sarasota and oversees all processes and implemented solutions in the SAP area
  • Serves as the local single point of contact (SPOC) in the SAP area and coordinates all needs and issues with our central SAP organization in Switzerland as well as giving our subsidiary in Sarasota a voice in our global organization
  • Knows the location-specific features in our SAP solution for various SAP modules (PP, SCM, QM, EWM) and serves as the first point of contact for the various SAP product teams for location-specific questions
  • Performs SAP customizing activities in coordination with the central SAP product teams
  • Leads local SAP projects and coordinate defects and requirements
  • Works with a high level of autonomy, technical judgement, and ownership in all SAP-related matters
  • Acts independently and makes informed decisions to ensure system and process stability during launch
  • Leads by example in precision, compliance, and process discipline
  • Supports early problem-solving efforts during launch and before full organizational maturity is reached
