About The Position

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better. Local route Truck Drivers (CDL A or B) are responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircrafts, and unloading the equipment. Local CDL Truck Drivers usually drive on local public roads, outside of the airport and terminal.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Work assigned schedule, which may vary and could include weekends and holidays.
  • Work overtime when required.
  • Arrive to work on time.
  • Comply with company policies.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Up to one year experience preferred.
  • Current U.S. driver's license.
  • CDL Class A or B is required.
  • Some locations may require a Customs Seal from local airport authority.
  • Must be able to read and write to complete the required forms.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift.
  • Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Load equipment onto the truck.
  • Drive the truck to the aircraft.
  • Load galleys according to customer guidelines.
  • Unload and place dirty equipment and trash in designated areas.
  • Accomplish all activities according to customer guidelines while adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Interact with the airline representatives at the aircraft.
  • Follow directions.
  • Work as a member of the Transportation team.
  • Complete paperwork and related administrative duties.
