About The Position

Seeking a local painter for a long-term subcontracting relationship. The role involves securing work over time in Westchester County, with materials provided by the job poster. The ideal candidate will have their own tools, transportation, and a fully licensed and insured business with Workers Comp (or exemption). A background check is required.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of painting experience.
Must possess own tools and transportation.
Must have a fully licensed, insured business with Workers Comp holding (or exemption).
Must be willing to undergo a basic background check.
Must reside in Westchester County, Putnam County, Fairfield County CT, or Rockland County.

Nice To Haves

Manages people and has a painting crew of 2-3+.
Westchester County Contractor Licensed.
OSHA trained.
EPA LEAD certified.
Experience with commercial painting tasks: Metal Roofs, Wrought Iron, Dry Fall, Spray Booth, Pro Coat.

Responsibilities

Perform interior painting tasks including ceilings, trim, doors, popcorn ceiling removal, cabinet painting/finishing, stairwells, and wallpaper application/removal.
Conduct exterior painting tasks such as power washing and painting decks, fences, and garage doors, as well as painting exterior walls of common building materials.
Undertake commercial painting tasks including metal roofs, wrought iron, dry fall, spray booth, and Pro Coat.
Establish and maintain a long-term 1099 subcontractor relationship.
Undergo a basic background check.
