About The Position
Davis Cartage Co. is now hiring a Class A Heavy Haul Driver to join our Eight Axle Team in Corunna, MI. This position is Monday through Friday, day shift, approximately 10 -14 hours per day with most weekends off. Drivers are home every night with the exception of a couple nights a month. Davis Cartage Co. is a common carrier focused instrastate trucking. We operate Cascadia Freightliners and eight axle dry vans. Davis Cartage Co. offers competitive wages and weekly pay. Eight Axle Drivers earn an average of 83k annually.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Two years of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Clean MVR
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
Responsibilities
- Operate Cascadia Freightliners and eight axle dry vans.
- Drive locally within the state.
- Be home every night with the exception of a couple nights a month.
- Work approximately 10-14 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
