About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is seeking a Local HAZMAT CDL-A Driver to join their team. This role involves driving a 53-foot curtain side truck and a 24-foot straight truck, delivering cabinetry hardware, lumber, PPE, laminate countertop materials, plywood/laminates, cabinetry, paint/stain, fasteners, sandpaper goods, sinks, lighting, woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools. The driver will be responsible for making 10-15 stops daily in MI, OH, and IN, and will assist with loading duties, including wrapping, and unloading materials by hand or with a forklift as needed. While the trucks are automatic, the driver must be able to operate a 10-speed manual transmission in case of maintenance issues with leased vehicles. The position offers a starting pay of $28.00/HR and a $2000 performance bonus after 3 and 6 months of good standing.

Requirements

• CDL-A license required.
• Must have a current and valid DOT Med Cert.
• Must have a HAZMAT endorsement.
• Ability to drive 10-speed manual transmissions.
• Ability to assist with loading duties, including wrapping.
• Ability to assist with unloading materials by hand or with a forklift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with HAZMAT goods such as adhesives, paint, stains, and lacquer.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 53-foot curtain side truck and a 24-foot straight truck.
• Deliver a variety of products including cabinetry hardware, lumber, PPE, laminate countertop materials, plywood/laminates, cabinetry, paint/stain, fasteners, sandpaper goods, sinks, lighting, woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
• Make 10-15 stops daily in MI, OH, and IN, with occasional overtime required.
• Assist with loading duties, including wrapping, as needed.
• Assist with unloading materials by hand or with a forklift upon delivery.
• Operate a 10-speed manual transmission if required due to truck maintenance.
