About The Position

Excel Moving & Storage is looking for qualified local drivers. Responsibilities are as follows: - Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to transport goods to various locations - Pack, Load and unload household goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items - Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher - Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner - Maintain accurate records of move paperwork - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate department - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Commercial driving experience preferred
Ability to safely operate a box truck or tractor-trailer
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if required
