About The Position

As a CDL Driver at GXO, you will help ensure safe, on-time delivery of goods for customers by driving local routes and returning home daily. The role involves operating tractors pulling 53-foot trailers and box trucks at the site and on public roads. This is a touch freight position. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of CDL experience within the last 3 years operating the same type of equipment required for the position, or larger.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current, valid Class A CDL.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers, such as tanks, vans, and flatbeds.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors pulling 53-foot trailers and box trucks in and around the site or on public roads.
• Handle touch freight.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.
