About The Position

This position involves delivering products to assigned fountain equipment accounts and vending equipment locations on an established route, across a variety of weather conditions. Responsibilities include stocking equipment, collecting cash/change, invoicing customers, and collecting applicable payments. The role also requires daily settlement of all cash and charges, and potentially placing orders for future products. Minor repairs on vending and/or fountain equipment may be required. The job involves significant physical activity, including lifting, loading, pushing/pulling cases (20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour periods), pushing a hand truck, reaching, bending, and squatting.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older.
  • 21 years or older if Valid U.S. CDL required.
  • Physical capabilities test (if applicable).
  • Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
  • Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL license (e.g., performing basic functions like driving forwards, driving backwards, or maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.).
  • Merchandising products (e.g., filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, replacing out of stocks, removing out of date products, etc.).
  • Operating equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, breakdowns, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver products to assigned fountain equipment accounts.
  • Perform minor repairs on vending and/or fountain equipment.
  • Invoice customers and collect applicable payment.
  • Responsible for daily settlement of all cash and charges.
  • Place order for future products to be delivered at the next scheduled call to the account.
  • Drive to vending equipment locations on an established route.
  • Fill equipment with product.
  • Remove cash/change from equipment and print invoice.
  • Update tags and Point of Sale (POS) on equipment as needed.
  • Stock vending equipment and collect cash/change.
  • Deliver products and execute all promotions.
  • Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift.
  • Merchandise all accounts to local standards.
  • Settle cash and reconcile to truck inventory.
  • Follow DOT Regulations.
  • Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan-in/scan-out, following designated route, etc.).
  • Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
