About The Position

Oak Harbor Freight Lines is seeking local Pick-up & Delivery / Box Truck Drivers to join their team. This regional trucking company has a history spanning over a century and operates across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California. The role involves driving 24’, 26’, and 28’ bobtails for customer pick-ups and deliveries. The company also offers an internal, paid training program for those interested in becoming a Class A Driver. Drivers typically work Monday through Friday with weekends off.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid DOT Medical Certification
• Must have a clean driving record
• No DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in the past 3 years
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate bobtail trucks of different sizes
• Adapting to challenging conditions like inclement weather and various road conditions
• Ability to meet the company’s reliability standards for employees
• Ability to chain as needed and to work in inclement weather as required
• Availability to work weekends and / or nights if needed
• Other duties as assigned
