About The Position

Home every night and weekend, so you can be with your family. This role involves driving flatbed and curtain side trailers, with no tarping required. You will manage Proof of Delivery paperwork, interact professionally with customers, maintain daily safety checklists and DOT inspections, and manage electronic logbooks and trip reports. Directing the unloading by customers is also part of the role when required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
- Safe Driving Record
- Ability to secure loads
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
- Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
- Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
- Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
- Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
- Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
- Direct the unloading by customers, when required
