Home every night and weekend, so you can be with your family. This role involves driving flatbed and curtain side trailers, with no tarping required. You will be responsible for properly securing loads using strapping, accurate and timely delivery of freight, and handling customer product returns when required. Managing Proof of Delivery paperwork, interacting professionally with customers, and maintaining daily safety checklists and DOT inspections are also key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will maintain an electronic logbook, complete trip reports, and direct customer unloading when required.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 21 years of age
12 months of recent verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years
Safe Driving Record
Ability to secure loads
Ability to work in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
Direct the unloading by customers, when required
