About The Position

We are seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local intermodal account operating from the company's yard in Bell Gardens, California. This is a slip-seat position with a five-day workweek, a mix of preloads and live freight, and daily home time. Drivers transport local intermodal freight throughout the Inland Empire and Greater Los Angeles areas, with regional runs north through the Grapevine to the Shafter and Lebec areas. Freight is 100% no-touch, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loading or unloading. Optional extra workdays are available. The stated average earnings are $1,400–$1,800 per week, paid at $19.25 per hour plus $18.71 per stop. The position offers full medical, dental, and vision insurance and 401(k) plan options. It is a full-time W2 position. Drivers have two consecutive days off, Sunday and Monday.

Requirements

At least 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Reside within 25 miles of Bell Gardens, California.
Have a clean Clearinghouse record; drivers with active or completed SAP status are not eligible.
Accidents, traffic violations, and criminal history are reviewed case by case.

Responsibilities

Safely transport local intermodal freight throughout the Inland Empire and Greater Los Angeles areas.
Pull routes from the five core rail and freight ramps: Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington.
Perform regional runs north through the Grapevine, including the Shafter and Lebec areas.
Complete drop-and-hook and live loading or unloading maneuvers; freight is 100% no-touch.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and promptly report equipment issues.
Park and slip-seat trucks at the Bell Gardens yard at the end of each shift.
