About The Position

REIC Rentals in Bend is seeking an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver. This role involves delivering designated equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state, ensuring operators are familiar with the equipment, and overseeing safe loading/unloading. The driver will also record and report the condition of equipment, maintain the truck with daily and weekly inspections, and monitor annual and DOT inspection schedules. REIC Rentals is a rapidly growing equipment rental company with a significant presence across North America.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License with manual transmission experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of driving experience.
• Driving record violation-free for the previous three years, including no record of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, committing a felony with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, or excessive speeding.
• Excellent communication skills with dispatch.
• Ability to think and act with safety in mind.
• Ability to creatively solve problems.
• Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds for short periods, often several times per day.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state.
• Oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment.
• Ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment.
• Record and report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment.
• Keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections.
• Monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.
• Conduct and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Observe and report mechanical and safety failures.
• Maintain vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing.
• Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance.
