About The Position

REIC Rentals (Aim High Rentals) in Tabernash is hiring a local-route Class A CDL driver experienced with hauling heavy equipment. This role involves delivering equipment, ensuring operators are familiar with it, overseeing safe loading/unloading, recording equipment condition, maintaining truck cleanliness and inspections, and monitoring annual and DOT inspections. REIC Rentals is a fast-growing equipment rental company with over 55 locations across North America, operating under various brand names.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, Leaving the scene of an accident, Committing a felony with a motor vehicle, Reckless driving, Excessive speed
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think and act with safety in mind
• Ability to creatively solve problems
• Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching
• Ability to lift 50 pounds for short periods, often several times per day

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving as Class A CDL in winter weather conditions
• Experience in the construction industry

Responsibilities

• Delivering designated equipment
• Ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment
• Overseeing the safe loading/unloading of equipment
• Recording and reporting the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment
• Ensuring the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections
• Monitoring and scheduling annual and DOT inspections as required
• Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
• Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
• Maintaining all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance
