About The Position
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated, home daily account based in the Gordonsville, VA area. This is a local position, and applicants must live within a commutable distance of Gordonsville, VA (Charlottesville, Waynesboro, Staunton, Richmond, and surrounding areas) and be able to commute daily. $2,500 Sign-On Bonus Home daily with 48-hour resets (same two days off each week) Must report daily to the Gordonsville location Mix of dry and refrigerated grocery freight No-touch freight with live unloads at store locations Routes run throughout VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV Start times between noon and midnight Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off (additional shifts available upon request) Approximately 1,700 miles per week Slip-seat operation with newer model day cabs Weekend availability required J Rose Logistics provides expedited freight transportation services for shipping and delivery on critical loads throughout the continental US. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of Class A experience within the last 3 years
- Must live within driving distance of Gordonsville, VA and be able to commute daily
- Must meet all DOT drug, alcohol, and safety requirements
- Tickets, accidents, and criminal history reviewed on a case-by-case basis
