About The Position
This is a dedicated local driving position requiring a Class A CDL. Drivers will be responsible for daily deliveries originating in Fredericksburg, VA, servicing locations throughout Virginia and Maryland. The role involves touch freight, where drivers will load and unload 53' trailers using an electric pallet jack, and reload returns back to the distribution center. The position offers home daily, a 5-day work week with 2 consecutive days off, and operates on night shifts with start times between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum of 3 months of recent, verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to the local Fredericksburg facility daily.
- Willing and able to operate night shifts.
- Willing and able to work weekend schedules.
Responsibilities
- Perform dedicated deliveries originating in Fredericksburg, VA, servicing locations throughout Virginia (VA) and Maryland (MD).
- Operate tractors and pull 53' dry van/refrigerated trailers.
- Load and unload 53' trailers using an electric pallet jack.
- Reload returns back to the distribution center.
- Maintain a reliable personal vehicle for daily commute to the Fredericksburg facility.
