About The Position

QualServ Solutions International, a Middleby Corporation Company, is seeking a Local CDL Truck Driver. Middleby is a global leader in foodservice, industrial food processing, and residential kitchen appliance industries. QualServ, based in Fort Smith, AR, offers innovative services and turn-key solutions with a global supply chain. The company operates a large facility in Central USA and another in Central Europe to serve international markets.

Requirements

CDL Class A required
1-year commercial driving experience preferred.
Pre-employment drug screening
DOT Physical
Criminal background check
Verification of employment eligibility (Form I-9)
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate yard truck in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
Safely and efficiently move trailers between buildings and in/out doors.
Occasionally make local runs with 26’ box truck.
Operate forklift as needed.
Accurately complete required documentation including manifesting as needed.
Communicate any safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions to supervision.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
Participate in training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.
