About The Position

Waste Connections of Nebraska is looking for safety conscience Local CDL Garbage Truck Drivers to join our GROWING team in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are looking to grow employees with us and will help provide the truck and training to help grow your career as a CDL driver – We also pay for your CDL! Requirements

CLP or Valid Class A or B CDL
Clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

1 year of local route driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
Reading route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Having professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed.
Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
