About The Position

If you're tired of living out of a sleeper berth, eating truck stop food, and missing out on life at home, this local shuttle position is for you. We have an immediate opening for a dedicated local shuttle driver running straight out of the Pueblo Distribution Center. This role offers no long weeks on the road or unpredictable miles; you will complete your daily turns, receive a daily rate, and sleep in your own bed every night. The work involves intra-Colorado shuttle transport, averaging roughly 2 turns per day originating out of the Pueblo DC. Drivers should be comfortable with changing local routes, seasonal winter mountain driving, and working through calendar holidays as needed.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
Must reside within 40 miles of Pueblo, CO (Zip Code: 81001).
Trainee Tier: 0 months experience welcome (Must hold a valid CDL-A).
Experienced Tier: 6+ months OTR in the last year, OR 12 months in the last 5 years (Local Class A experience is fully considered).
Maximum of 4 driving jobs in the past 12 months.
Clean driving record with zero major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
Must pass mandatory hair and urine drug analysis.

Responsibilities

Complete daily shuttle turns originating out of the Pueblo DC.
Perform intra-Colorado shuttle transport.
Handle 100% no-touch freight, including local drop-and-hook or simple shuttle unloads.
Operate within a Monday through Sunday rolling schedule, including weekend dispatch.
Be flexible to run both day and night turns based on terminal needs.
Drive through changing local routes, seasonal winter mountain conditions, and work through calendar holidays as needed.
