About The Position
The Rock Place, an An Outdoor Living Supply Company is seeking a temporary CDL A Driver for a short-term assignment (with potential to extend based on business needs). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day balancing driving, customer interaction, and hands-on delivery work.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience required
- Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett) required
- Safe driving record and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and basic math skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
Nice To Haves
- Experience with triaxle and truck & trailer combinations preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely, professionally, and on schedule using triaxle or truck & trailer combinations
- Load and unload trucks according to delivery schedules
- Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett) for deliveries
- Organize and maintain warehouse and landscape supply yard
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and facilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations
- Maintain company vehicle (cleanliness and service tracking)
- Support customer service team as needed
