About The Position

This local CDL A Driver position offers the opportunity to sleep in your own bed every day while averaging $1,700 to $2,300 per week. The job involves local grocery runs that start at night and require consistent movement, with pay for every piece of work completed. The operation runs 7 days a week with 2 consecutive days off, and the truck stays at the Perryville yard, requiring reliable transportation to get to the yard. The runs cover Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, including Staten Island and Long Island. Drivers will load and unload with an electric pallet jack into store stockrooms and must be able to pull 75 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• At least 3 months of solo tractor-trailer experience.
• Valid Class A CDL matching your current state.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 to 5 years.
• No preventable accidents in the past 3 to 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Not a SAP driver.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Must live within 45 miles of Perryville, MD.
• Must be able to pull 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform local grocery runs starting at night.
• Complete 10 to 20 stops per week, covering approximately 1,600 to 1,800 miles.
• Load and unload using an electric pallet jack into store stockrooms.
• Drive to PA, NJ, and NY, including Staten Island and Long Island.
