About The Position

Acme Transportation is seeking company drivers for 2nd shift home daily positions. This is an intermodal driving role involving local pick-ups and deliveries between rail yards and warehouses to customers. The 2nd shift duties include returning empty containers and chassis to various railyards and depots, as well as pre-pulling loads to one of our yard locations. The typical shift hours are 6pm to 6am, with occasional flexibility for early starts or late finishes. This is a 100% no-touch freight position.

Requirements

• CDL A license.
• A minimum of two years of driving experience.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Demonstrated dedication and longevity at previous employment.
• No refusals of dispatch.
• Willingness to run all legal hours of service.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent MVR.
• Intermodal experience is a must.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Manual Transmission experience is a plus.
