About The Position

We are a digital media and marketing consultancy backed by one of Canada's most recognized local media brands. We partner with businesses across Halton Region to solve real marketing problems by connecting them to the right local audiences at the right time through digital advertising, hyper-local targeting, and exclusive event sponsorships. This role is designed for individuals who are proactive in building their pipeline, leveraging their network, and developing long-term client relationships. It rewards both hunting new business and nurturing existing accounts, offering the freedom to prospect aggressively and the tools to grow and deepen client relationships. The core of the role involves consulting on marketing strategy, diagnosing client challenges, and prescribing digital solutions, making the Account Executive invaluable to their clients.

Requirements

  • B2B outside/field sales experience, especially in a consultative or solution-sell environment.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Self-directed and disciplined; ability to manage own schedule and hold yourself accountable.
  • Strong communication skills: confidence in speaking, good listening skills, and ability to tailor pitches.
  • Working understanding of digital advertising and audience strategy.
  • Valid Ontario G driver's licence.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to handle client credit card information and be PCI compliant (training provided).

Nice To Haves

  • Strong hunters without B2B outside/field sales experience may be considered, as fundamentals can be taught.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect relentlessly through cold outreach, community events, referrals, and networking.
  • Build a strong, qualified pipeline from day one.
  • Research the market and stay ahead of competitor moves.
  • Meet with local business owners and decision-makers to understand their marketing challenges.
  • Build tailored advertising and media plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Present and pitch solutions that genuinely move the needle for clients.
  • Develop deep, strategic relationships with existing accounts.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities as client needs evolve.
  • Forecast accurately and keep the CRM current.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to deliver compelling proposals.
  • Stay sharp on digital advertising trends, audience strategy, and the local competitive landscape.
