This role is responsible for ensuring ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other installed systems, equipment, and components. The engineer will maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned client buildings. This includes performing major HVAC and plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and facility inspections. The position requires responding effectively to all emergencies and may involve light travel. The engineer will also be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of various building systems including boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, air compressors, water systems, elevators, building automation systems, sanitary sewer systems, trash compactors, and kitchen equipment. Additionally, the role involves maintaining stock and inventory control, recommending improvements to the preventive maintenance program, compiling monthly reports, and ensuring familiarity with all building-related equipment. Safety is paramount, requiring recognition of hazards, use of PPE, and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. The engineer must also maintain all required Federal, State, or Local licenses and complete C&W Safety Training annually, adhering to the C&W Uniform Dress Code.
