The Local 10 Mobile Engineer is responsible for ensuring the ongoing preventive maintenance and repair of facility mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other installed systems, equipment, and components. This role involves maintaining, operating, and repairing HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and performing interior/exterior building repairs. The engineer will also be responsible for major repairs on HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical repairs including conduit work and panel maintenance, and performing predictive maintenance. Additionally, the position requires conducting facility inspections, responding effectively to emergencies, and operating/maintaining various building systems such as boilers, refrigerant systems, air compressors, water systems, elevators, and building automation systems. The role also includes maintaining stock and inventory, recommending improvements to the preventive maintenance program, compiling monthly reports, and ensuring familiarity with all building-related equipment. Safety is a key component, requiring recognition of hazards, use of PPE, and compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. The engineer must maintain all required Federal, State, or Local licenses and complete C&W Safety Training.
