About The Position

Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar by performing the following duties. We are a drug-free workplace. Pre-employment screenings, COVID-19 testing and background checks will be conducted for all viable candidates. EEO/M/F/V/D

  • Ability to multitask skillfully while maintaining excellent guest service.
  • Maintain consistently high-quality beverages.
  • Provide constant communication between management and bar team.

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
  • Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Properly using the dish machine to clean and sanitize dish and glassware.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate, efficient mixing of beverages
  • Cashier duties as required.
  • Controlling an accurate bank, and issuing proper change to guests.
  • Maintenance of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintenance of the entire bar station, from sanitation to overall cleanliness.
  • Take inventory of beer, wine & liquors.
  • Receive and carefully check Daily Requisition from Storeroom.
  • Prepare juices and garnish items as needed.
  • Mix beverages for guest or wait staff, utilizing beverage control systems and using proper recipe methods.
  • Maintain proper service standards and rapport with guests.
  • Complete required paperwork at end of shift.
  • Leave work area clean at end of shift, making sure the bar is in top condition for the following shift.
  • At end of shift, inventory beer, bottled mineral water, and wine and record on proper sheets, attach duplicates to proper inventory sheets.
  • At closing, secure all liquor and bar supplies and make a storeroom requisition to replenish all used product.
