Responsibilities

  • Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
  • Maintain public areas including Lobby, Corridors, Banquet Areas, Pool Facilities, Entrances, and public restrooms by vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
  • Properly maintain cleanliness and supplies for public areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room and housekeeping staff restrooms.
  • Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaner, floor shampooer, housekeeping carts, and mop unit.
  • Accommodate guest rooms if day staff cannot access them, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Perform turndown service if required.
  • Report maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries with sensitivity and immediacy, such as delivering cots, cribs, pillows, and other guest supplies within 10 minutes.
  • Assist with laundry operations, including sorting soiled linen and terry, loading and unloading washers and dryers, folding clean linen and terry, and placing them in proper storage locations. This may also include ensuring proper chemical levels in washing machines and cleaning dryer lint traps and washer filters.
  • Comply with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with staff to achieve high levels of cooperation and service excellence.
