About The Position

The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's public areas, including the lobby, breakfast area, bar, open spaces, and hallways. This role also involves providing guest service support, assisting with breakfast and bar area upkeep, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards, and performing miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Ability to keep public areas clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Skill in dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
Ability to monitor and maintain public restrooms.
Capability to maintain the appearance of entrances, glass doors, and windows.
Strong guest service skills, including greeting guests and answering questions.
Willingness to assist guests with luggage or directions.
Ability to collaborate with team members.
Willingness to assist with breakfast and bar area upkeep.
Adherence to safety and sanitation policies.
Ability to report maintenance issues promptly.
Skill in restocking supplies.
Willingness to assist with seasonal décor.
Ability to assist housekeeping during peak periods.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Keep the lobby, breakfast area, bar, open spaces, and hallways clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Regularly dust, vacuum, mop, and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures.
Monitor public restrooms, replenishing supplies and ensuring they are clean and in good condition at all times.
Maintain the appearance of entrances, glass doors, and windows.
Greet guests warmly and answer any basic questions about hotel amenities and services.
Offer assistance to guests with luggage or directions as needed.
Collaborate with other team members, including front desk staff, to support a positive guest experience.
During breakfast hours, assist in clearing tables, restocking supplies, and keeping the area tidy.
At the bar, support the bar team by clearing and cleaning tables, restocking napkins and utensils, and keeping the space well-presented.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies, including hotel and local health codes.
Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure timely repairs.
Restock supplies in all public areas, including restrooms, as needed.
Assist with seasonal lobby décor and other duties as assigned by management.
Occasionally assist housekeeping with other duties during peak periods.
Perform other duties as assigned.
