About The Position

The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of designated areas within the hotel. This includes public areas, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms. The role involves a variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and floor care. Additionally, the Lobby Attendant will greet guests in a friendly manner, perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed, and may assist with guest requests and cleaning guest rooms. This is a full-time position with a PM shift.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks.
  • Willingness to perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
  • Ability to assist with guest requests and cleaning guest rooms.
  • Must be available for PM shift (3pm - 11pm) including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Clean designated areas including public areas, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
  • Perform dusting and polishing of furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum, mop, sweep, and shampoo carpets.
  • Wash windows.
  • Empty carts of soiled linens.
  • Clean and wax floors.
  • Remove and dispose of trash, insects, and debris.
  • Empty ashtrays.
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects, such as mattress flipping and furniture moves.
  • Assist in delivering guest requests.
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.
