About The Position

The Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of all lobby and public area facilities. This includes areas such as the lobby itself, restrooms, machines, business center, gym, front office, valet/bell services, guest elevators, lobby lounge, and employee back-of-house areas. The role requires attention to detail to ensure these spaces are always presentable and well-maintained.

Requirements

Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Requires constant standing/walking.
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
No experience required.

Responsibilities

Cleans and maintains all lobbies and public restrooms.
Sweeps and mops carpets and lobby entrances.
Cleans the gym area.
Removes trash from receptacles and empties ashtrays and urns.
Polishes furniture and fixtures.
Vacuums and polishes elevators.
Keeps the front of the hotel free from trash.
Polishes the lobby floor during the night.
Keeps the back area of the front desk neat and clean.
Keeps all public areas neat, vacuumed, and dusted.
Cleans and maintains lights.
Ensures mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators, and doors are clean and mark-free.
Removes all trash from areas.
Periodically checks all lobby restrooms/washrooms.
Inspects furniture for tears, rips, and stains and reports damages.
Restocks supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels in lobby washrooms.
Ensures all surfaces are clean and tidy.
Arranges cushions properly on lobby sofas.
Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby or casino area.
Assists guests with questions and directs them to desired areas.
Takes care of all cleaning equipment used in the lobby.
Vacuums guest elevators and landings.
Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
