About The Position

Detroit’s Colony Club is looking for a Lobby Attendant/Security Guard to provide an excellent tenant experience. All applicants must be able to take direction well, work well with others, have strong customer service skills, and have a professional appearance. All applicants must pass a background check. Previous lobby attendant/security guard experience is preferred. Schedule is firm for Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, from 11pm to 7am, 4 days per week = 32 hours.

Requirements

Ability to manage your time efficiently.
Work well unsupervised.
Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.

Nice To Haves

Previous lobby attendant/security guard experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Stay tenant focused to provide an excellent tenant experience
Greet tenants and vendors in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival and departure to the building
Provide tenants and vendors with information pertaining to the building
Light janitorial work required – running floor machines through hallways, removing garbage, etc.
Report any suspicious activity to the manager on duty
Log incoming packages
Log any guests and vendors of the building
Monitor security cameras
Maintain a clean and safe lobby environment
Walk the floors of the building, make manager on duty aware of any building issues
