About The Position

Lobby Ambassador Introduction Established in 1918, Guardian Service Industries is a 4th generation family-owned Janitorial, Security, Pest Control, and Engineering & Operations staffing corporation. We provide a comprehensive range of essential facility management services to over 1,000 clients across various sectors, inclusive of commercial and government buildings, residential communities, schools, industrial facilities, transportation hubs, and retail outlets throughout the East Coast and New England. The Role: The Lobby Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and colleagues entering the facility. This role is dedicated to creating a welcoming and professional environment by providing exceptional hospitality, clear communication, and prompt assistance. The Lobby Ambassador ensures that every guest and colleague feels valued, respected, and well-supported from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality, front desk, customer service, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a naturally warm, approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and visitor management software (training provided if necessary).
  • Punctual, dependable, and detail oriented

Responsibilities

  • Warm Welcome & Professional Presence Greet all guests, clients, and colleagues with a friendly smile, eye contact, and a sincere welcome. Maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.
  • Guest Experience & Hospitality Anticipate guest needs and offer assistance proactively (e.g., directions, refreshments, service information). Provide personalized service by remembering frequent visitors and adapting greetings accordingly. Ensure lobby area is clean, organized, and stocked with any necessary hospitality items.
  • Visitor Management Check in visitors when needed, following all security and safety protocols. Issue visitor badges when needed and provide clear instructions for navigating the building. Communicate guest arrivals to appropriate contacts efficiently.
  • Information & Support Answer questions about the facilities, events, or services in a knowledgeable and courteous manner. Direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Safety & Compliance Monitor lobby activity to ensure safety and compliance with building policies. Report any suspicious activity or maintenance needs promptly.
