About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Loaner Car Agent to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $18 to $19 per hour. The Loaner Car Agent plays a key role in managing the loaner vehicle process by delivering friendly, efficient, and accurate service. This position requires excellent customer service skills and proficiency with company-approved software and procedures to ensure a smooth rental experience.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Positive attitude when handling challenges.
  • Availability for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete all loaner vehicle contracts and necessary documentation accurately.
  • Ensure loaner vehicles are clean, damage-free, fully fueled, and topped off with fluids before customer pickup.
  • Qualify customers according to company loaner guidelines using Logitrac software.
  • Verify internal customer documentation before releasing vehicles.
  • Conduct vehicle walk-arounds with customers during check-in and check-out.
  • Utilize company-approved tablets and software to assess and meet customer needs.
  • Explain loaner vehicle usage policies, geo-fence restrictions, rates, and service charges clearly to customers.
  • Review return dates and applicable charges with customers at vehicle return.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and provide professional, courteous customer assistance.
  • Resolve customer service issues effectively and manage workflow to minimize wait times.
