About The Position

Builder Finance Inc. (BFI) is seeking a Loan Underwriter to join their growing team. This is a 2-year position with an initial focus on junior-level underwriting of real estate and borrowers, emphasizing construction of single-family and small multifamily residential property. Responsibilities include processing, fulfilling, and servicing loans. In the second year, the role is intended to transition into a sales-focused position, involving client interaction for loan origination and structuring. Success in both underwriting and sales can lead to opportunities for greater responsibility and compensation. The work environment is supportive and friendly, yet demanding, encouraging initiative and talent.

Requirements

• Moderate Excel, Word, and Outlook skills (can be learned on the job)
• Attention to detail is critical
• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated interest in real estate and/or sales ability
