About The Position
Loan and Title Specialist at Bergstrom Genesis of Appleton. Bergstrom Automotive is Wisconsin's largest dealership, focused on exceptional guest experiences, innovation, integrity, and team member growth. This role involves processing loan applications, managing vehicle titling, interacting with guests regarding financing, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with sales and finance teams. The schedule includes Monday-Saturday with a 5-day work week, featuring rotating early and late shifts during the week and scheduled Saturdays with a weekday off.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in automotive finance, loan processing, or title management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of loan processing procedures, title regulations, and automotive sales processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency with finance and title software, as well as standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Nice To Haves
- Additional certification in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Handle all aspects of vehicle titling, including preparing and submitting title applications, resolving any title-related issues, and coordinating with state agencies.
- Work directly with guests to explain financing options, answer questions, and provide support throughout the loan and title process.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation meet state and federal regulations, including privacy laws, credit application policies, and finance disclosures.
- Maintain accurate records of all loan and title transactions.
- Prepare reports and reconcile accounts as needed.
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to provide a seamless experience for our guests.
- Communicate effectively with financial institutions to manage loan approvals and funding.
