About The Position

Loan Support is responsible for providing support for commercial, agricultural, mortgage, and consumer loans, throughout the entire loan process. This individual will work directly with Loan Officers and Loan Processors and other support teammates to help process and close loans, providing assistance to complete each loan file per company policy and current regulations. This individual will prepare preliminary documents, disclosures, and closing documents within required regulatory timelines. This individual may work with attorneys, abstractors, appraisers, insurance companies, closing companies, or customers to field questions, gather financials, or any other information needed throughout the loan process, involving all aspects from start to finish. Exceptional service must be provided to customers, Loan Officers, and any other parties involved throughout the loan process. This individual should have the ability to exercise extreme organization, multitask, and have a strong comfort level working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines when required. This individual should be able to work both independently and with a team as needed. Other duties may include scanning, ordering, or processing documents such as paid notes, credit reports, verifications of employment, payoffs, releases, tax transcripts, insurances, ESCROW changes, setting up ATA/ACH payments, collateral building and tracking, and more. Loan Support answers customer questions in person or on the phone and may cross-sell products and services that may fit customer needs. All staff members work Saturdays on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years working with commercial and agricultural documentation, procedures, and processing.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of mortgage processing experience at a financial institution (Conventional, ARMs, balloons, construction, HELOC, consumer loans).
  • Highly attentive to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player attitude with ability to work with other teammates to process loan related tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure clients and customers are connected to other individuals and resources they require.
  • Satisfy customer inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Promote Luana Savings Bank to our surrounding area.

  • Follow all established policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Cross-sell appropriate products and services to current and prospective customers.
  • Intermediate computer skills with ability to operate Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Reside within a 20 mile radius from the designated office or willing to relocate - please include location/relocation details in cover letter or resume submission.
  • HS Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Jack Henry core systems and Byte loan system.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a related field.
