About The Position

The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for maintenance on existing loans while providing excellent service to internal partners, external parties and members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • 1 Year related experience in a financial institution
  • Knowledge of title work and lien filings

Responsibilities

  • Collects, sorts, delivers and processes the mail which is direct to the Consumer Lending Department
  • Processes paid-off KEMBA loans, including release of collateral, mortgage satisfactions and paid security agreements
  • Conducts payment reversals and modifications to correct errors
  • Ensures that title work is correctly completed and protects the credit union by filing necessary liens on titles
  • Provides management with periodic reports regarding status of lien filings and titles
  • Prepares documents for member signatures and ensure accuracy of completed forms
  • Issues loan payoffs and verifications to authorized third parties.
  • Assists with research and resolution of any consumer loan related issues
  • Communicates with KEMBA associates, members, dealerships and other external institutions as needed in day-to-day operations of the department
  • Provides exceptional member care by having good time management skills and accurate execution of job duties
  • Strives to meet all goals established for this position
  • Performs all duties in a manner that is fully compliant with applicable industry regulations as well as KEMBA policy and procedures
  • Develops an understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and operational procedures
