About The Position

Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative for their Dallas Branch near Love Field Airport. This role is crucial in ensuring all consumer loans for the Credit Union are accurately processed and maintained. While primarily a back-office position, there may be a need to assist members face-to-face and provide professional service. The representative will also serve as a backup to the Title Clerks, handling title transactions and related processes.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal skills to effectively suggest new products and services to our members.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three years of cash handling experience, with a history of good balancing.
  • One to three years of service experience, preferably in a Financial Institution.
  • All qualified candidates must pass a credit and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Verify documents associated with all consumer loans (auto, motorcycle, boat, RV, personal loans, Lines of Credit, and credit cards) for accuracy prior to completing the funding transactions.
  • Reviews and funds all Indirect loan packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, ensuring timely disbursement and clear communication with dealership partners.
  • Documents, organizes, scans, and maintains paperwork related to debt protection claims; assists other employees and members with documentation needed for claim processing.
  • Maintains the process for force-placed insurance, CPI, on collateral loans including applying premiums and refunds to the loans as well as answering inquiries regarding CPI status on loans.
  • Performs file maintenance and account changes as needed.
  • Assist members face-to-face and provide professional, SWACU service may be required.
  • Serve as a back up to the Title Clerks, which may include performing title transactions, ordering new and existing titles, assisting Loan Officers with necessary documentation and fees to complete the title work process, and contacting dealerships, sellers, and DMVs for each state.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.
