About The Position

At Dollar Bank, we're looking for relationship-driven professionals who enjoy connecting with people, building trust, and helping customers achieve their financial goals. As a Loan Center Representative, you will play an important role in growing consumer lending relationships by engaging with current and prospective customers through a variety of outreach channels, including community events, networking opportunities, referral partnerships, digital inquiries, and proactive business development efforts. The candidate will be responsible for originating and servicing new consumer loans (Home Equity, Auto, Personal, Credit Card) through a variety of means including networking, telemarketing and through participation in community events, and tradeshows. This position will allow you to save customers money and help them reach their financial goals.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required.
Two (2) years of experience in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, or a related field and a demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals is required.
Must be available until 6pm on some weekdays and Saturdays.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and valid insurance.
Candidates being considered will be subject to additional background checks as required by the office of the Comptroller of Currency.
Demonstrated ability and desire to build consumer loan relationships and meet all related sales goals.
Demonstrated ability to process consumer loan applications, verify documentation, and close loans in compliance with regulatory requirement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to conduct formal presentations.
Must be detail-oriented to ensure accurate data entry, compliance with documentation, and correct loan calculations.
Ability to handle multiple loan applications simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers, resulting in positive client feedback and repeat business.
Achieve all goals by consistently implementing effective relationship building techniques taught in training and consistent with the Bank’s Mission, Value, and Core Objectives.
Consistently generate new loan production and the associated products and services through proactive efforts including: Utilization of effective outbound calling efforts, Calling on businesses in the market area, Generating new Vendors via utilization of the Preferred Referral Program within the immediate market as well as maintaining existing vendor relationships through follow-up with these vendors, Participate in networking, community, trade shows, and Chamber of Commerce events, including before- and after-hours activities, Soliciting current customers within the branch, Handling online CHAT inquiries.
Support management with onboarding new team members to drive successful integration, performance readiness, and achievement of sales goals.
Adhere to all operational processes and procedures that have been put in place within the loan center assigned.
Comply with all Federal and State Banking regulations that apply.
All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank’s risk management program.
