Loan Sales Officer
About The Position
The Loan Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new loan customers through field marketing and referrals. This role involves promoting and selling the bank’s loan products to individuals and businesses, conducting credit assessments, and ensuring proper documentation of loan applications. The officer will also follow up on loan disbursements and repayments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies and procedures. A key aspect of this role is to meet and exceed assigned sales targets and build strong client relationships for repeat business.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc in any relevant discipline
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in banking or microfinance
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven with a passion for sales
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of the local market and business environment
- Sales and marketing skills
- Customer relationship management
- Credit analysis (basic level)
- Result-oriented mindset
