About The Position

The Loan Quality Review Specialist will provide support to the Loan Operations Department with an emphasis on data quality for consumer and commercial loans. This includes reviewing HMDA and CRA data, processing adverse files for reporting in a timely fashion in accordance with regulations, and assisting with general loan operations reporting, including processing of paid files, and data integrity review. Employee will have extensive contact with customers, vendors, the general public, and bank staff and will interact in a professional and courteous manner and conduct him/herself in such relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall efficiency and image of the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Review of reportable (and non-reportable) loans, the bi-monthly HMDA and CRA LAR and error reports, coordinating changes with GBCI HMDA and CRA personnel.
  • Provide timely review and completion of quarterly and year end HMDA and CRA reports prior to the final submission of the LAR.
  • Assist the Loan Operations Department by processing paid files, to include consumer installment and real estate secured files. Ensure accuracy of reconveyance requests and releases of liens.
  • In conjunction with consumer loan personnel, provide timely review and completion of adverse files, along with participation in Second Review Committee.
  • Provide training and support, facilitate flow of communication regarding requirements, and transmit new or changing requirements to loan personnel as it relates to HMDA, CRA, and other duties within the Loan Operations Department.
  • Staying abreast of department goals and objectives, assisting staff with questions or problems, researching complex situations, motivating staff to promote superior customer (internal and external) relations.
  • Provide support to GBCI regarding software applications, implementation, training, and exception tracking.
  • Remain current on lending (federal and state) regulations as well as all compliance and bank policies. All reporting requirements are complete within Federal Time Limitations.
  • Service Quality – embrace service pledge and provide extraordinary and consistent service to all internal and external customers. Listens to and asks about customer’s needs.
  • Participates in required training, staff meetings, and lobby displays.
  • Participate in Community Service and Bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of Glacier Bank.
  • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers (all organization personnel).
  • Complete required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s).
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
  • Represent Glacier Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive “can-do” attitude, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs.
  • Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.
  • Consistently maintains regular and reliable attendance.
